The information center of the Ministry of the Interior informs that on October 6, 2024, between 19.00 until 21.00 FPRIS (Registration of Natural Persons IS) technical works will be carried out, during this period the operation of the unified application module may be disrupted.

Terms of use of the electronic identification solution

1. The electronic identification solution works according to the requirements of the Law on Electronic Identification of Natural Persons, subject to the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

2. By not accepting these terms of use and the transfer of data to the electronic service provider, you will not be able to use the electronic identification solution and the electronic services that require mandatory identification.

3. The exchange of the users personal data (name, surname, personal identification number) between the State Digital Development Agency (Agency) and the electronic identification service provider is governed in accordance with the agreements concluded between these parties.

4. Electronic identification process:

4.1. You confirm that you have read and understood these terms of use and the purpose of the personal data processing and that you agree that the State Digital Development Agency (Agency) obtains your data (name, surname and personal identification number) to transfer such data to the electronic service provider automatically;

4.2. You choose one of available electronic identification service providers;

4.3. Complete the authentication process on the website of the selected electronic identification service provider by entering the information required by the relevant service provider in the appropriate fields to identify yourself;

4.4. After successful electronic identification, the identification service provider will transfer your data to the Agency;

4.5. The Agency shall transfer the received users personal data to the relevant electronic service provider who ensures the use of the service you have selected;

4.6. The electronic identification solution provides a Single Sign-On principle, which allows storing your identification data to enable you to log on to other systems that use Latvija.lv electronic identification solution without completing the identification process again. This data will not be stored permanently but only until you close your web browser (all open browser windows).

4.7. To avoid the risk of unauthorised use of your identity, after logging off from Latvija.lv or another system you accessed by using the Latvija.lv identification solution, close the web browser (all open browser windows);
