1. The electronic identification solution operates in accordance with the requirements of the Law on Electronic Identification of Natural Persons, observing the conditions of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).
2. If you do not agree to these rules and the transfer of data to the electronic service provider, you will not be able to use the electronic identification solution and those electronic services where identification is mandatory.
3. The exchange of the user's personal data (name, surname, personal code) between the State Regional Development Agency (Agency) and the electronic identification service provider is governed by the agreements concluded between these parties.
4. Electronic identification process:
4.1. You confirm that you are familiar with these regulations and the purpose of personal data processing, and allow the State Regional Development Agency (Agency) to receive your data (name, surname and personal identification number) in order to automatically transfer them to the electronic service provider;
4.2. You choose an electronic identification service provider - internet bank, eID card or E-signature;
4.3. On the web page of the selected electronic identification service provider, perform the identification process by entering the information required by the relevant service provider in the required fields, which will allow you to be identified;
4.4. As a result of successful electronic identification, the identification service provider transfers your personal data to the Agency;
4.5. The agency transfers the user's personal data received to the corresponding electronic service provider, which ensures the use of the selected services for you;
4.6. The electronic identification solution provides a single sign-on principle, which allows you to save your identification data so that you can connect to other systems that use the Latvija.lv electronic identification solution without repeating the identification process. This data is not stored permanently, but only until you close your web browser (all open browser windows);
4.7. To avoid the risk of unauthorized use of your identity, close the web browser (all open browser windows) after logging out of Latvija.lv or another system that you accessed using the Latvija.lv identification solution;
4.8. During the legal entity authorization process, the user's personal data (personal code) will be transferred to the Register of Companies to verify authorizations.
